NEW ORGANISATION CHART

Department reorganised.

Now i am no longer a production+ spare sales person (production planner/planning engineer) but a 100% spare sales support. They name me as

"SALES COORDINATOR"

Some of them think this title sounds like demoting my position, sales coordinator is a job for O/A level candidates. Resposible is to make calls and do some admin duty.. similar or even lower than sales admin. They suggest me to talk to our boss

Well, my first impression to this title is like: urgh.. wat`s this?! how come it`s not sales executive/engineer?

but some company also take this title as executive level..

how leh..

Most important is whether the pay and job scope are on par with executive level or not. If not, give me a 'director' title also no use la...

name you as director but pay you 3k, you want? haa..

I think as long as you are not asking for a pay raise, changing a title to such as 'sales engineer' should not be a problem for them. I don't know about sales coordinator, but sales engineer sounds kinda better.
There is no harm in asking.:)
